Heather Moore - Anchor

Heather Moore joined KMSB as the anchor of FOX-11's News at Nine news team in December of '04. You can also find her reporting for "Good Evening Arizona," "The Newsroom" and "The News Show" on KTVK, KMSB's sister station in Phoenix.

Moore said she received her calling at an early age. As the middle of five children, she always seemed to be nominated as the spokeswoman for the bunch.

Now, the stories she tells include jumping out of a plane with the Army's famous Golden Knights, riding in a B-25 bomber with a WWII pilot, flying with the Marines to the floor of the Grand Canyon to deliver toys to the Havasupai Indian children and the historic recall of California Gov. Gray Davis and subsequent election of actor Arnold Schwarzenegger.

A California native, Moore graduated with honors from the University of Southern California with a degree in broadcast journalism. She began her career in several Los Angeles newsrooms before taking her first job in Yuma at KYMA, where she anchored the 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. newscasts.

Sacramento's powerhouse newsroom, KCRA, was where Moore spent the next two years before landing in the Valley of the Sun.

"I can honestly say there has never been a day where I don't look forward to coming in to work," Moore said, "but my real job is at home, where my three gorgeous, energetic kids keep me on my toes."

When there's time, Moore can be found hanging out at sporting events or exploring the Arizona landscape.

Royal Norman - Anchor/Meteorologist

Royal Norman and his wife, Nancy, moved to Arizona (the first time) in the summer of 1981. As they drove into town that August afternoon, they were met by a huge dust storm. "Surely it will rain," they said to each another. It did not. Thus, they were introduced to Arizona weather.

Norman graduated with a degree in Meteorology-Climatology from Arizona State University in 1984.

In 1994, Norman was an integral part of the crew that launched "Good Morning Arizona," which, as it turns out, was destined to become one of the top-rated local morning shows in the country.

Two years later, Norman moved his family to Atlanta, where he was the chief meteorologist at WXIA-TV, the NBC affiliate. His favorite part of that job was chasing hurricanes -- something that never happened in Arizona. In the summer of 1999, Norman and his family returned to the Grand Canyon State.

Deanna Morgan - Reporter

Deanna came to Tucson from Hawthorne, California, where she was a reporter, producer, and anchor for Channel 22. Deanna, who is conversational in Spanish, earned her B.A. in Music in 2000, from Chapman University, located in Orange, CA. She also attended la Universidad de Belgrano in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

After college, she taught Instrumental Music in Orange County and sang professionally. In 1998, she participated in the Miss California Scholarship program, and earned the title of Miss City of Orange.

Delane Cleveland - Reporter

Delane Cleveland joined the FOX 11 News team in August 2007. Before moving to the desert, he spent two years as a reporter/weekend news anchor at KOTA in the Black Hills of Rapid City, SD. The Southern Arizona climate is a bit of a shock to him, but he's happy that he no longer has to experience sub-zero temperatures during winter.

Delane is a 2004 graduate of the University of Minnesota's School of Journalism, and decided to pursue a career in news after covering a story in college that earned him an award from the Northwest Broadcast News Association.

Delane has also been honored for his volunteer work with abused and neglected children at the Black Hills Children’s Home.

When Delane isn't covering the news or reading about what else is going on in the world, you can find him glued to various sporting events on television. He's a huge fan of any team from Minnesota...although the Vikings and Timberwolves haven't given him much to cheer about in recent years.
