Epilepsy Outreach Project
10:37 AM MST on Thursday, July 24, 2008
Epilepsy is a condition affecting people in all walks of life…people who can and doi live normal, productive lives. Any handicap associated with epilepsy comes more from lingering misconceptions rather than from the inconvenience of having a seizure. The Epilepsy Outreach Project is a Tucson-based information and support resource for those with epilepsy and for the rest of the community. The Project’s goal is to increase public awareness about the condition. A 24-hour telephone crisis listening line is available, along with peer counseling and support and information and referral. For more information, call 326-6690 or 1-800-234-0935.More on the Community Calendar
