The Uptown Optimist Club along with all Tucson Optimist Clubs are proud to host Oktoberfest! It’s a family event worthy of its name. All the tastes and sounds of Germany are waiting for you at Oktoberfest 2008. Bratwurst, sauerkraut, strudel, German beer, St. Pauli Girl are just a few of the things in store for you. And after you eat, don’t miss over 60 arts and crafts booths, kid’s area, and the non-stop live entertainment that is sure to have you yodeling. Proceeds from Oktoberfest will benefit a variety of community children’s charities. October 2-5, Hi Corbett Field at Reid Park. (Just South of El Con Mall).
Admission is ONLY $3, and kids 12 and under are free.
Oktoberfest Hours:
Thursday (10/2) 5pm – 10pm (3 cans of food gets you in FREE, benefiting the
Tucson Community Food Bank)
Friday (10/3) 12n – 11pm (12 noon-5pm Senior Citizens get in FREE)
(12 noon-5pm 3 cans of food gets you in FREE,
benefiting the Tucson Community Food Bank).
Saturday (10/4) 10am – 11pm (UA game day ticket or stub you in FREE)
Sunday (10/5) 12noon – 6pm (Saturday’s UA ticket stub gets you in FREE)More on the Community Calendar
