Host Bob Lee interviews Mary Jo Spring, Executive Director, Hermitage Cat Shelter, the State’s first no-kill shelter which has undergone some recent changes in policy.  Spring says the shelter, founded by a Russian Orthodox nun in 1965 purely as a sanctuary for unwanted cats, is now focused on finding permanent homes for the cats. She says the shelter will always offer lifelong refuge for cats that are not adopted, though.Â
