The Fox 11 Fantasy Home in the Foothills is a collaborative effort between Fox 11, TL Concepts, and exclusive custom homebuilder Living Spaces LLC. As its name implies, the home is located in the desirable area of the Catalina Mountain foothills. The Fantasy home is unique in that a dated 1970’s slump block territorial style home will be thoroughly updated and expanded, giving it a contemporary look.
Originally only 2,000 square feet in size, this home will be more than double that when completed. By watching an older foothills home, as it is updated and brought into the future, homeowner will receive some wonderful ideas they can incorporate into their own home projects.
Bedrooms
The FOX 11 Fantasy Home will boast four bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom. Another room, located just off the master bedroom, can be used as a guest room, office, exercise room or nursery. A new, large laundry room near the children’s’ bedrooms will not only give the occupants a place to do laundry, but will also provide a storage area.
Master Bedroom
The master bedroom is all about comfort, space, views, and luxury. Set apart from the other bedrooms, it is most private and offers its own wet bar. The sitting area allows for relaxed reading or just taking in the views. The master bathroom includes a large two-person shower with overhead rain head, two hand held showers, and multiple body sprays for a shower that promises to be an experience. The master bathtub is a six-foot round whirlpool designed to simulate a rolling river with rapids, whirlpool, or whitewater experiences. If that isn’t enough, the tub also has chromotherapy, lighting that provides a full spectrum of color that washes over you for a complete sensory experience.
Great Room/Dining Room/Kitchen
The great room centers on a home theater area and also allows a wonderful view of the built in pool and the mountains beyond. The dining room has one wall that is glass and overlooks a private patio area with a fountain. The kitchen with stainless steel appliances has ample cabinets and a large walk in pantry. Nestled between the great room, dining room and kitchen is a unique fire pit, sure to be a major focal point of the home.
Outdoors
The backyard boasts a wonderful pool that includes a lap pool area, play area and a spa with a view of the mountains. Integrated into the patio area outside of the great room is an outdoor kitchen with barbeque, warming drawer and refrigerator. Our homeowners will look forward to inviting their guests over and entertaining.
Other Features
The Fantasy home will be constructed of masonry, covered with stucco, and will have exposed split face block as accents. A three-car garage allows ample room for cars as well as storage. The home will be fully automated, adaptable to any need the homeowner may have for computerized automation. Of course it will have a security system and will be pre-wired for audio throughout.
