YUMA, Ariz. (AP) — A suspected teenage gang member is in custody in Yuma in connection with two separate attempted homicide investigations.
Yuma police arrested 17-year-old Adrian Covarrubias Thursday afternoon.
He was later booked into the Yuma County Juvenile Justice Center for misconduct with weapons, possession of dangerous drugs for sale and participation in a criminal street gang.
Covarrubias was one of three 17-year-olds police had been seeking in connection with the attempted homicides, which remain under investigation.
Police said the other two suspects were arrested last month on suspicion of first-degree murder and participating in a criminal street gang.
