GENEVA, Switzerland (AP) — If Roman Polanski still celebrates American Thanksgiving, he could be thankful he'll be out of jail soon. A Swiss court says he can be released on $4.5 million bail. Polanski will be under house arrest at the chalet he owns in the Swiss resort of Gstaad (guh-SHTAHD'). He'll be watched by electronic monitoring. Polanski is 76. He's married and has two kids. The court says "it can be assumed that as a responsible father, especially in view of his advanced age" he won't split and lose all that bail. A decision on extraditing Polanski to Los Angeles is still pending.
