! TONIGHT'S TV !

Saying goodbye to "Monk."

After eight seasons and three Emmys for Tony Shalhoub, "Monk" is signing off tonight. The series finale may answer some of the lingering questions about the murder of Detective Monk's wife a decade earlier. It's on USA.

Tonight, ABC's "20/20" has an interview with singer Chris Brown. He's is on probation after pleading guilty to beating then girlfriend Rihanna. Rihanna had her say on ABC last month. "Dreams Come True: A Celebration of Disney Animation" is first up on ABC this evening. Betty is coping with a terrible photo shoot on "Ugly Betty."

"Dollhouse" is back on the Fox schedule -- but not for long. The sci-fi series was yanked during the November ratings period. It's back tonight with a two-hour episode. But after the current run of fresh shows, "Dollhouse" will be gone for good next month.

The Muppets start the night for NBC, with their "Letters to Santa." ''Dateline NBC" is next. Jay Leno's guests include actor Kelsey Grammer and singer Taylor Swift

CBS has all new episodes tonight. On "Ghost Whisperer" Melinda suspects the death of a skateboarder may not have been an accident as police reported. "Medium" and "Numbers" follow.
