TONIGHT'S TV

The talent of Atlanta.

Atlanta's talent pool is in the glare of "American Idol's" camera tonight. This is the second episode of season nine. We're early into the auditions. The judges are looking for singers to send to Hollywood. Tonight's episode is 90 minutes. Then, Fox is replaying last Sunday's episode of "The Simpsons." It's the 450th and centers on Krusty the Clown's troubles with his TV show.

Season three of "High School Reunion" premieres tonight on TV Land. Twenty years after graduation, 16 classmates from Chaparral High School in Las Vegas reunite on Kauai.

On "The New Adventures of Old Christine" on CBS, she tells her therapist a special secret. "Gary Unmarried," ''Criminal Minds" and "CSI: New York" follow. All are new.

ABC is all comedy tonight starting with a repeat of "Modern Family." Then, it's all-new episodes of "The Middle, "Modern Family," ''Cougar Town" and "Ugly Betty."

After a new "Mercy," and a "Law and Order" repeat, "The Jay Leno Show" welcomes Dwayne Johnson. He's both in the studio and out on the race track. Kourtney Kardashian also pays a visit.

The CW has repeats of "One Tree Hill" and "Gossip Girl."

Spike Lee's film, "Passing Strange," is on PBS. It's a semi-autobiographical story of a young man who leaves behind his middle-class, church-focused upbringing in the U.S. to travel to Europe. He's searching for artistic and personal identity.
