TONIGHT'S TV

Goin' to Orlando.

The "American Idol" judges check out the talent in Orlando for tonight's audition episode on Fox. This time, Kristin Chenoweth is the guest judge, taking Paula Abdul's place. This is a one-hour review of the Orlando auditions. New series, "The Human Target" fills the second hour of Fox's prime time. Chance, played by Mark Valley, tries to save a client from an assassin on a plane.

Bruce Springsteen talks about his life and anything else Elvis Costello asks of him. It's part one of a two-part season finale on the Sundance Channels "Spectacle: Elvis Costello with..."

There's music on PBS. It's opera. Tonight's "Great Performances at the Met" is auditions. These auditions are serious. They're nothing like "American Idol." You won't find a Tiny Tim imitator here like we saw on last night's Idol.'

On ABC, Jules on "Cougar Town" needs a shoulder to lean on now that she and Jeff are no longer a couple. "Modern Family" comes just before "Cougar Town," and "Ugly Betty" is after.

Christine on "The New Adventures of Old Christine" on CBS is torn between two lovers. "Gary Unmarried" is next, followed by "Criminal Minds" and "CSI: New York."

A man who's been in a coma for 10 years wakes up. That's on "Mercy" on NBC. A rerun of "Law and Order: Special Victims Unit" is next. And, James Cameron and Selena Gomez visit "The Jay Leno Show."

The CW is repeating the pilot episode of "Life Unexpected."
