The flu is keeping TUSD students home at a rate of 10 percent.
And the school district is also dealing with a nurse shortage.
Right now only 46 of 53 positions are filled becasue of budget cuts and other financial issues. And now some of them are calling in sick.
Some nurses work at as many as four schools to make up for the shortage.
