PHOENIX (AP) — Fire restrictions have been lifted for most of the state's public lands in time for campers heading for Arizona's wildlands for the holiday weekend.
The Arizona Republic reports that there are no fire restrictions for the state's national forests. Officials have also lifted restrictions for most Bureau of Land Management territory in Arizona.
However, fire restrictions remain in effect until 6 a.m. Tuesday on BLM land managed by the Lake Havasu and Yuma field offices.
