PHOENIX (AP) — Phoenix police have identified the victim of a drive-by shooting last weekend as they continue to search for the suspected killer.
Police said Wednesday that the victim is 32-year-old Jose Diego Gutierrez-Reyes.
They say he was driving early Saturday on 43rd Avenue near Grand Avenue when the driver of a pickup pulled up alongside him and shot him.
Gutierrez-Reyes' vehicle careened into a garage at a nearby storage business and he was found dead in his truck.
Police say no suspect description or motive is known, but the incident is being investigated as a homicide.
