Search on in No. Ariz. for missing Flagstaff woman

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (AP) — The Coconino County Sheriff's Office and its search and rescue unit are attempting to locate a Flagstaff woman missing since late Monday.

Authorities say 39-year-old old Tanya Morris telephoned a friend about 6:00 p.m. Monday said she was going to walk her dog and then return home.

Morris has not been seen or heard from since.

Her vehicle was located off southbound Interstate 17 at the overlook located south of Munds Park. Sheriff's Office spokesman Gerry Blair said it is snowing in Flagstaff and Morris may be exposed to severe weather conditions.

Morris is described as a white female, 5' 3" in height, weighing approximately 120 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes.
