PHOENIX (AP) — Authorities say a man was fatally shot Thursday outside of a Phoenix check-cashing store.
Phoenix police say the victim was found lying in the street outside of Austin's Cash Market on 13th Place and Pima Street at about 5:30 p.m.
A customer came out of the store and saw the man, and neighbors called the authorities. Fire crews took the man to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police say the victim was not believed to be a customer of the check-cashing store and they don't have any immediate leads on a suspect in the shooting.
