PHOENIX (AP) — A bill to strengthen Arizona's reporting requirements on abortion will be heading to Gov. Jan Brewer, a past supporter of measures to restrict abortions.

The House's approval of the Senate-passed bill on Wednesday completed legislation action on the legislation.

The bill would put into law a current requirement set by Department of Health Services rules for confidential reports by abortion providers on individual abortions and circumstances without names of the women involved.

The bill also requires court reports on how many times judges bypass parental consent requirements. Those reports would be confidential but the state would have to release an annual statistical report on abortions.
