Tuesday night's election didn't go the way many people had anticipated -- especially in the Tucson Unified School District. Both propositions that would have increased the district's budget failed. So did Proposition 200, which would have increased public safety officers on the streets. And proposition 400, which will increase the city of Tucson's spending limit is close to being defeated.
