TUCSON -- Local businesses are taking a stand against Arizona's controversial new immigration law.  That's according to the human rights group, No More Deaths.

The group held a news conference Thursday near 4th Avenue to announce two campaigns called "we mean business" and "we reject racisim."

"This law is having effects on these businesses even before the law has gone into effect; so, part of what we're trying to do is counter that and bring our support to businesses who have really come down on the right side," says No More Deaths volunteer, Rachel Richardson.

The group says it has encouraged nearly a hundred businesses to vow to prevent law enforcement officers from entering their property to question someone's legal status.
