TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) — Tucson police determined the deaths of three people found inside a residence Monday was a murder-suicide.

The three are identified as 35-year-old Mario Morales Sr., his wife, 34-year-old Stephanie Morales and their 16-year-old son Dario Morales.

The investigation revealed that Mario Morales Sr. shot and killed his son and wife before turning the gun on himself.

Detectives say the Morales' were married, but were separated and living apart.

Police say a relative of the victims found the bodies late Monday afternoon after making a visit to the home on the city's west side.

I knew Stephanie and she was the most careing person I know. She was a very good mother and her kids were her life. He was very jealous of the fact that she could hold a job and he couldn't. I knew from the first time I met him that he was not a good person, I could see it in his eyes.
