TUCSON, Ariz. — The Tucson Police Department, Counter Narcotics Alliance Task Force, and the Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control carried out a raid of an east side strip club Thursday night resulting in several arrests.
Armed with a search warrant, officers raided the Candy Store Show Club, located at 1104 S. Craycroft Rd, and made 10 arrests on charges including unlawful possession of narcotics for sale and lewd and lascivious acts.
Four suspects were cited and release at the scene. Six employees of the Candy Store were arrested and booked into the Pima County Jail.
TPD reports responding to 85 calls to The Candy Store over the past 16-months including two homicides and twelve assaults.
A few months ago the Tucson Police Department sent a letter to the state asking it to revoke the club's liquor license.
A call to the Candy Store Friday morning went unanswered.
