08:32 PM MST on Wednesday, February 27, 2008
Over 400 volunteers from the University of Arizona will take part in "Cats In The Community Day" on Saturday, March 1 to benefit the Primavera Foundation. The volunteers will be working to refurbish and revitalize 3 Primavera Foundation buildings all located on an entire city block on South Sixth Ave.
The Primavera Foundation serves the estimated 10,000 homeless people in the community, working to help men, women and families make the transition from poverty to greater well-being and security. Members of the U of A faculty, staff and student body will be participating in the event.
