Two Sierra Vista men have been arrested and charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault and kidnapping for allegedly attacking a 28-year old man on Saturday, May 3.

Forbes-Haynes

Police say 22-year old Jarmelle Forbes-Haynes and 27-year old Pernell Green abducted the victim from the parking lot of Paul’s Pub by forcing him at gunpoint into a vehicle. The victim was assaulted, robbed of his cell phone, wallet and jewelry, and was made to remove his clothes before he was dropped off near Moson Road and State Route 90.

The victim suffered a swollen and bruised cheek, and a split lip. He told police he knew of the suspects but did not know their names or where they lived. A tip police received during the investigation led to the arrest of the two suspects at the Sierra Linda Apartments.

Police are still looking for the driver of the vehicle used in the crimes. She is described as a heavyset black female in her mid-20s. Anyone with information is asked to call 520 452-7500.
