A 20-year old Sierra Vista man is being held in the Cochise County Jail on charges that he put bleach into a soft drink that was consumed by his ex-girlfriend. Shawn Kellerman is accused of aggravated assault, a class 3 felony.

Police say that on Monday, May 5, Kellerman took his ex-girlfriend, Stephanie Randolph to a movie at the Cinemark Theater. He purchased a drink for Randolph and allegedly put bleach in the drink. She became ill and was taken to the hospital where she was treated and released for burning and blistering to her throat.
