Early voting offered in Pima County
08:53 PM MST on Sunday, October 12, 2008
Early voting for the November 4 General Election is underway. You can cast your ballot early either by requesting that a ballot be mailed to you, or you can go to one of several satellite early voting sites around Pima County.
“As of this date, we have already processed 205,000 requests for early ballots,” says Pima County Recorder F. Ann Rodriguez. “This is an unprecedented volume for Pima County.”
You can request an early ballot by going to the Recorder’s office web site or by calling 520-740-4330. Voters who are on the Permanent Early Voting List will automatically receive a ballot in the mail.
Some of the early voting sites are open on Saturdays for voters who can’t get to a voting site during the work week. The Recorder’s office web site has a list of early voting sites, and can be accessed by clicking here.
