PHOENIX (AP) — A fatal accident that killed four people last week near Crown King was a result of driver error and inexperience. Yavapai County investigators said a 16-year-old boy was driving the Chevrolet SUV when it veered off the road and plunged 100 feet down. The victims were on their way to a men's church retreat when the accident occurred north of Phoenix.

PHOENIX (AP) — Singers and protesters forced Sheriff Joe Arpaio off a stage last night during a journalism forum at Arizona State University. As the sheriff began to answer questions about his round-up of suspected illegal immigrants, protesters began singing and shouted down the sheriff. The journalism school dean chastised the outburst.

TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) — Tucson police are investigating an early morning home invasion. Investigators say around 2:00 a.m., officers responded to a resident. Police say shots were fired, but no one was injured. A family of at least six was home at the time, but they are all OK and not injured.

MESA, Ariz. (AP) — A conservative watchdog group has filed a lawsuit against a state agency on behalf of a Gilbert salon owner who uses nibbling fish to remove dead skin from customer's feet. The Goldwater Institute argued in its suit filed Monday that the Arizona Board of Cosmetology overstepped its bounds when it decided the fish perform pedicures and are subject to regulatory control.
