DENVER (AP) — The family of a New Mexico boy who got sick after eating sirloin from JBS Swift Beef Co. wants to dismiss his lawsuit against the company. JBS recalled about 380,000 pounds of beef this summer due to connections with outbreaks of E. coli. Alex Roerick's family claims he developed kidney failure after eating the meat.

PHOENIX (AP) — Arizona Attorney General Terry Goddard is suing three men for advertising at least 47 fictitious businesses in the Tucson Yellow Pages. David Sasson and David Peer, both of Clearwater, Fla., and Gilad Gill of Bronx, N.Y., are accused of violating the Arizona Consumer Fraud Act. Goddard alleges the men falsely represented that consumers had the option of contacting different locksmiths even though calls were redirected to the same call center.
