DENVER (AP) — A major rural electric provider says it would allow more state input into its planning while maintaining its independence. Colorado-based Tri-State Generation and Transmission Co. and an environmental group have submitted a proposal to the Colorado Public Utilities Commission that would allow more input by the public and regulators.

FARMINGTON, N.M. (AP) — A federal jury says a Flora Vista stripper's constitutional rights were violated during a police search.
