PHOENIX (AP) -- The U.S. Attorney's Office in Phoenix says a 38-year-old Canadian man has pleaded guilty to traveling to Arizona so he could have sex with a Mexican boy.
Bradley Blaise Hanaback answered an ad offering child sex and paid $50 for what he thought would be a night of sex with a 10-year-old boy in Mexico in June 2007.
But instead, he was arrested by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents.
Hanaback was charged with traveling across state lines with the intent to engage in sexual conduct with minors. He pleaded guilty on Monday and is scheduled to be sentenced on May 12.
A French man who responded to a similar ad was sentenced to 7 years in a federal prison last month after being arrested.
