Though no release was issued, Tucson Police have contacted media outlets and reported that a missing Tucson couple has been found and they are fine.
Authorities were searching for a woman who was last seen apparently being assaulted and forced into a car with her 18-month-old son.
Detectives from the Tucson Police Department’s Domestic Violence Unit asked the public for help in locating the woman. Witnesses told police they saw a woman being assaulted and taken against her will in a light-colored vehicle at about 10:45 p.m. on November 5.
A TPD media release originally indicated detectives believed the couple to be en-route to Southern California.
