Mom faces murder, child abuse charge in son's death

A 22-year-old woman faces first degree murder for the alleged child abuse death of her infant son.

Emergency crews were dispatched to a residence in the 300 block of W. Canada on July 14 after receiving reports that a child was not breathing. It was determined that the baby’s injuries were consistent with child abuse.
Blanco is currently at the Pima County Jail.
