The first annual Lorraine Lee Youth Walk will be held on Saturday, April 26 from 7 a.m. to 12 noon at Pima Community College’s West Campus. Sponsored by the Girls For A Cause Committee, the event will raise money for the youth centers and high schools that have been created by Chicanos Por La Causa (CPLC).

Lorraine Lee was Executive Vice President of CPLC for 25 years and worked to put together three high schools and youth centers. Ms. Lee considered it her mission to help keep kids in school so that they can get a good education and better their futures. She passed away from throat cancer in October of 2007.
