Sharing the Sky Foundation to hold fundraiser

The annual Sharing the Sky Foundation fundraiser will be held on the UA Mall on Saturday, May 10, which is National Astronomy Day. The Tucson Amateur Astronomy Association and the Flandrau Science Center will have telescopes set up outside the Flandrau Center from 3:30 p.m. until 10 p.m.
You’ll be able to safely view the sun through solar filtered telescopes during the day and after dark see the moon, planets, distant galaxies and stars. There will also be educational hands-on activities for kids and door prizes.
Admission is free, but donations to the Sharing the Sky Foundation are greatly appreciated.
