Drug-sniffing dog finds marijuana under truck bed

Border Patrol agents, with the assistance of a Border Patrol K-9 arrested a suspected drug smuggler at the I-19 checkpoint in Amado on Wednesday, May 14.
A 1979 Ford pickup truck driven by 41-year old Regino Lopez was passing through the checkpoint at 10 a.m., at which time the K-9 alerted agents to the underside of the truck. A closer inspection turned up six bundles of marijuana hidden under the cargo bed, with an estimated street value of over $75,000.
