Fox 11 News

The Pima County Health Department has scheduled additional measles shot clinics to give residents in the high risk category for catching the disease another chance to get immunized.

On Saturday, May 31, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., the free shots will be available at the Health Department’s East Office at 6920 East Broadway, the North Office at 3550 North First Avenue, the South Office at 175 West Irvington, and the Special Randolph Park Clinic at 600 South Alvernon. As of 3 o’clock Saturday afternoon, the Randolph Clinic will close permanently.

Those at high risk include infants between 6 months and 1 year of age, children between the ages of 1 and 5 who have not had two doses of the vaccine, those with a known exposure to a suspect case of measles, healthcare workers, childcare and school staff, anyone having close contact with infants under 1 year of age, pregnant women, and people who are immunocompromised.
