New suspect sought in stabbing case

Tucson Police have a new suspect in the stabbing of a man who was attacked as he got off a Sun Tran bus on Thursday, July 17. The victim and the suspect had an exchange of words while riding the bus, and both got off in the 3500 block of East Grant Road where the stabbing took place.

The suspect is described as a white male, 5’9” to 6’0” tall, weighing 200 to 220 pounds, with sandy brown/gray hair and brown eyes. He has tattoos on both arms, a white moustache, and is missing his right eye.
A different passenger that police had been seeking in connection with the incident is no longer the focus of the investigation.
