A man has been arrested for allegedly stealing 15 rifles, cash, a tractor, and a utility trailer from the Tucson Rifle Club.
Sheriff’s Deputies and Border Patrol Agents responded to the club west of Tucson after a burglary was reported on Wednesday, July 23. Agents followed footprints leading away from the building, which led to the discovery of the tractor and trailer hidden in the brush. They then followed footprints leading away from the tractor, which led them to a mobile home where the suspect was arrested after his shoes were compared with the footprints.
Inside the mobile home, deputies recovered the money and 13 of the 15 stolen weapons.
