By Jim Edwards, Fox 11 News

The body of a 70-year old Tucson woman who had been missing since Saturday, August 16, has been found in Saguaro National Park – West. Paula Gniewek, who suffered from Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia, left her home on East Wendrew Lane to drive to a drugstore on Saturday morning, but never returned home.

Mrs. Gniewek was found about half-a-mile from her vehicle and slightly off the Douglas Spring Trail in the park. Police say there were no signs of suspicious activity or foul play causing her death. The official cause of death is pending the results of an autopsy.
