An argument between two men, apparently about drugs, led to the shooting death of one of the men in a midtown alley on Tuesday, August 19. The victim has been identified as 20-year old Wayne Johnson of Tucson.
Police say Johnson argued with another man at around 12 noon in the parking lot of an apartment complex near Mountain and Glenn before he was shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The suspect fled in an older model foreign made sports car. He is described as a Hispanic male, age 20 to 25, with a stocky build.
Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
