07:10 PM MST on Thursday, August 21, 2008
Harley-Davidson and the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) are teaming up on an online auction to raise money for MDA. The auction features 105 collectible and one-of-a-kind Harley-Davidson items, in honor of Harley-Davidson’s 105th Anniversary.
“Harley-Davidson has always gone above and beyond to help my kids,” said MDA National Chairman and Telethon host Jerry Lewis. “This auction is a way to get some fantastic Harley-Davidson items that won’t be available anywhere else in the world – all the while helping MDA’s mission.”
Special items up for bid include a Harley-Davidson 105th Anniversary Heritage Softail Classic motorcycle, and a 2009 Rocker motorcycle. Since 1980, Harley-Davidson dealers, customers and employees have raised more than $65 million for MDA.
The auction runs from August 21 through September 4. You can participate in the auction by clicking here.
