A personal injury lawsuit against Ford Motor Company has been filed on behalf of a Tucson Border Patrol Agent who was paralyzed in a rollover accident in 2007. Agent Luis Pena Jr. was on duty near Casa Grande on October 18, 2007, when he lost control of his Border Patrol-issued vehicle and rolled over, causing the left side of the vehicle’s roof to collapse on top of him.
The vehicle Pena was driving was a 2003 Ford F-250 XL Super Duty Truck. Agent Pena’s spine was broken in the crash, leaving him a quadriplegic. The suit was filed by Pena’s lawyers in Pima County Superior Court.
