Heroes' Night event set for 9/11

La Paloma Academy is inviting the public to participate in the school’s annual Heroes’ Night on Thursday, September 11. Representatives from the Red Cross, Tucson Fire Department, Tucson Police Department, military and local hospitals will be on hand.
The event is held on 9/11 to honor and remember the courageous men and women who risk their own lives to save the lives of others. The ceremony will begin with the presentation of colors by Davis-Monthan Honor Guards, and will be followed by a video presentation, dedication of gifts to local heroes, the reading of student essays, and a tribute by Senator Tim Bee.
Hereoes’ Night will run from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Academy’s Lakeside Campus located at 8140 East Golf Links Road. More information is available by clicking here.
