The ASUA Women’s Resource Center is offering free self-defense classes for women 18 years of age and older beginning in October. The classes run over the course of two days, and the first workshop of the semester is scheduled for October 4 and 5 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. at the Campus Health Building’s 3rd floor conference room.
A $20 deposit is required to reserve your spot, and the deposit will be returned to you once you complete the session. The class fills quickly, so to assure yourself of a spot you should contact Self-Defense Coordinator Katie McCallister at KatlinM1@email.arizona.edu, or 520-621-3919.
