The 18^th Annual Bisbee 1000 - The Great Stair Climb will be held on Saturday, October 18. Known as the most unusual physical fitness challenge in Arizona, the climb is hosted by Save Our Stairs, Inc. (SOS) in conjunction with the city of Bisbee.

The event will get underway at 9 a.m. in front of the Cochise County Courthouse. Preregistration will begin at 7 a.m., and an awards ceremony will take place at 11:45 p.m.
