A road improvement project on Mountain Avenue between Roger and Fort Lowell will begin on Monday, October 13. For the first four months of the two-year-long project, Mountain will be closed to through traffic between Limberlost and Roger, and only local traffic will be allowed on Mountain between Limberlost and Prospect Lane.

Work hours for the project will be Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. The project will include the widening of the existing two-lane street to include bike lanes, curb, sidewalk, street lights at certain intersections and landscaping.
