Two auto theft prevention events scheduled

The Tucson Police Department Auto Theft Detail will hold two more auto theft prevention and education events. The first event will be on Saturday, October 18, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Oaktree Park, in conjunction with the annual Midvale Community Picnic. The second event will take place on Saturday, November 8, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Hi Corbett Field during the 2nd Annual Tucson Cops and Rodders Car Show.
Free Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) etching will be offered during both events, provided that the owner of the vehicle is present and the vehicle has valid Arizona registration and insurance.
