Huntington's fundraiser walk set for November 2

The first annual “Team Hope: Walking for Huntington’s Disease (HD) will be held on Sunday, November 2 at the Reid Park walking track. Proceeds will be used to provide services to people with HD in Southern Arizona, and fund research for a cure.
HD is a genetic neurological disorder that causes the deterioration of physical and mental capabilities and ends in death. It afflicts approximately 100 residents of Pima County, and one of every 10,000 people worldwide.
Participants in the walk will collect pledges for completing the three-mile long walking track at Reid Park. Registration begins at 9 a.m. and the walk gets underway at 10.
