Two arrested in connection with gang shooting

Two men have been arrested in connection with the shooting death of a 17-year old Tucson resident on Monday, October 13. Roy Fierros was killed outside of a convenience store at 12th Avenue and Drexel Road shortly after 12 noon.
23-year old Jesus Garcia has been booked into the Pima County Jail on charges of first-degree murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Also under arrest is 17-year old Jose Uribe, who is charged with unlawful flight from a pursuing law enforcement vehicle, second-degree burglary, and unlawful use of means of transportation.
Police say Fierros was confronted by at least three suspects inside the store, and he was shot to death in the parking lot. According to investigators, Fierros and the suspects were members of rival gangs.
