Border Agents find heroin hidden in man's clothing

On Tuesday, October 14, Border Patrol Agents from the Tucson Sector discovered 796 grams of heroin that had been sewn into the clothing of an illegal alien.

The suspect was seen on a Border Patrol camera system attempting to enter the country near Nogales at about 8 a.m. Agents from the Nogales Border Patrol Station apprehended the man, and the heroin was discovered inside of numerous small pouches that had been sewn into the liner of the vest that he was wearing.
The drugs are worth an estimated $95,000. The heroin and the man were turned over to the Drug Enforcement Administration.
