A fundraiser to help victims of violent crime will be held on Saturday, November 8. Proceeds from the Firelite Lounge Poker Run for Crime Victims will benefit Homicide Survivors, Inc.
The event is being organized by Firelite Lounge owner Ric Bell, whose parents, Arthur and Judy Bell were murdered at the Firefighters Union Hall. “Homicide Survivors helped our family so much,” says Ric. “Now, I want to help raise money to ensure other families going through this tragedy get the help they need.”
The cost of the Poker Run is $20 per vehicle. Sign up begins at 9 a.m., with the first car out scheduled for 10 a.m. The Firelite Lounge is located at 2413 West Wetmore Road at Highway Drive. For more information, call 520-419-1838.
