Man found dead in park

A 39-year old man is dead after he was found bleeding outside of his car, which was parked at James Thomas Park in the 3200 block of South Forgues. Police have identified the victim as Efrain Ordonez, Jr.
Police were called to the park on Sunday, November 9 at around 7:30 a.m. Investigators learned that Ordonez was known to frequent the park in the morning to walk his dog. His vehicle is described as a 1995 light purple Hyundai four door.
Witnesses said a late model, possibly 2007 Silver Nissan Titan pick up was seen leaving the area at a high rate of speed. Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
